Build your high-flow head assembly correctly using these steps.
Step 1: Position After the Valve
Ensure your regulator is positioned downstream from your irrigation timer or manual shutoff valve. It cannot be under constant pressure.
Step 2: Install Upstream Filtration
Install a 3/4-inch pipe thread filter directly before the regulator to prevent debris from jamming the internal spring cartridge.
Step 3: Thread the Inlet
Wrap the male threads of your filter or valve with thread seal tape, and thread the 3/4″ FPT inlet of the Netafim regulator securely onto it.
Step 4: Connect the Outlet
Wrap the 3/4″ MPT outlet of the regulator with thread seal tape, and thread on your female PVC adapter or female poly tubing adapter to carry the water out to your plants.
Swapping Springs (If Needed):
If you need to change your output pressure later, simply unscrew the cap on the body of the regulator, pull out the old spring cartridge, drop the new one in, and tighten the cap.
