How to Grow Summer Dance Cucumber
Plant seeds directly into the soil in the late spring or early summer taking care to avoid the last frost. Cucumbers are warm-weather vegetables; keeping the soil temperature between 70 and 90℉ is crucial. Optionally, seed indoors 3-4 weeks before the last frost. Transplant starts outdoors after the last frost date and after hardening them off. For more on hardening off starts, see our free vegetable growing guide! Fertilize periodically throughout the fruit-bearing season to get more fruit. Frequently provide deep and generous waterings once the flowers begin to appear. Growing Summer Dance on a trellis or fence saves precious garden space, provides air circulation, and makes harvesting the fruit easier.
