Celosia ‘Dragon’s Breath®’ (Celosia argentea plumosa) is a showstopping annual known for its blazing-red flower plumes and vibrant green-red foliage. Highly adaptable and low maintenance, this variety thrives in the heat and humidity of summer, producing dramatic color even under less-than-ideal conditions.
‘Dragon’s Breath®’ is ideal for both bedding and cut flower production, with minimal fertilizer and irrigation requirements. Its extra-large, late-flowering plumes provide exceptional texture and long shelf life, making it a favorite for landscapes, mixed containers, and large-scale garden displays. Under high heat or lower fertility, the plant’s foliage deepens to an even more intense red, creating a striking contrast in any setting.
