The Essential Connection for Your EZ-FLO Hose Bib Fertilizer Injector
The EZ-FLO Hose Bib Adapter (Model 3060) is the standard connector that links your EZ-FLO hose-thread fertilizer injector directly to any standard outdoor faucet or garden hose. Featuring a 3/4″ Female Swivel Garden Hose Thread (GHT) inlet × 3/4″ Male Garden Hose Thread (MHT) outlet, it threads onto a standard hose bib in seconds with no tools required. The brass construction provides long-lasting corrosion resistance for outdoor use.
This adapter is the same fitting that comes included with the EZ-FLO 3/4-Gallon Hose Thread Fertilizer Injector (EZ 2005-HB) and the EZ-FLO 2.5-Gallon Hose Thread Fertilizer Injector (EZ 2020-HB). It is sold separately here as a convenient replacement part when the original is lost or damaged. The adapter works with the Flo-Disc kit included with EZ-FLO 1000 and 2000 series injection systems, which controls the dilution rate by restricting flow through the fitting. If your system is installed in a sprinkler line with very low flow rates, consider the EZ-FLO Coupler with Ball Valve (3060-BV), which lets you fine-tune differential pressure for injection at very low flow.
Important: EZ-FLO hose-thread fertilizer injectors are not rated for constant pressure and must be installed after a timer or valve. All fertigation systems must also include a backflow preventer to protect your drinking water supply.
- Standard Replacement Part: The exact same connector included with the EZ 2005-HB and EZ 2020-HB hose-thread injector units — ideal to keep on hand as a spare.
- Brass Construction: Durable brass body provides excellent corrosion resistance and a long service life in outdoor, weather-exposed environments.
- Female Swivel Inlet: The 3/4″ Female Swivel GHT inlet threads easily onto any standard outdoor faucet or garden hose bib without tools; the built-in swivel prevents kinking the injector’s 1/4″ supply tubing.
- Compatible with Flo-Disc Kit: Works with the flow-restriction discs included with EZ-FLO 1000 and 2000 series injectors to set the correct dilution ratio for your fertilizer application.
- Simple Installation: No special tools needed — hand-tighten onto any 3/4″ GHT hose bib for a leak-free connection in minutes.

Set up your EZ-FLO hose-bib fertigation system in minutes.
Step 1: Install a Backflow Preventer
Thread a backflow preventer directly onto your outdoor faucet. This is required by most local codes and protects your domestic water supply from fertilizer contamination.
Step 2: Attach Your Timer
Thread your hose-end irrigation timer onto the backflow preventer outlet. EZ-FLO hose-thread units must be installed after a timer or valve — never under constant pressure.
Step 3: Connect the Hose Bib Adapter
Remove the washer from the 3/4″ Female Swivel GHT inlet of the adapter and set it aside for re-use. Thread the adapter onto the timer outlet, then reinstall the washer and hand-tighten firmly. Position the injector so that the 1/4″ tubing connections are accessible.
Step 4: Select and Install the Correct Flo-Disc
Refer to the instructions included with your EZ-FLO unit to estimate your water flow (GPH). Insert the appropriate Flo-Disc into the adapter to set the dilution ratio before turning on the water. Skip this step if your system exceeds the minimum flow rate for the injector without a disc.
Step 5: Connect the EZ-FLO Injector Tubing
Attach the 1/4″ flexible supply and return tubing from your EZ-FLO injector tank cap to the corresponding ports on the adapter. Press tubing firmly into the push-fit fittings until it stops, then tug gently to confirm a secure connection.
Step 6: Fill the Tank and Start Watering
Fill the injector tank with your water-soluble fertilizer, set the flow adjustment on the cap, and turn on the water supply. The water flow will activate the injector and begin distributing diluted fertilizer through your drip system.
