Gilmour Adjustable Circular Tripod Sprinkler

Set It Once. Water Everything. The Elevated Sprinkler Built for Large Lawns.

The Gilmour Adjustable Circular Tripod Sprinkler (Model 1677) is the go-to hose-end sprinkler for homeowners who need to cover large, mature lawns without dragging a sprinkler from spot to spot. Its telescoping tripod extends to 58 inches tall, sending water over shrubs, ornamental grasses, and mature plantings that would block a ground-level sprinkler — giving you elevated, even coverage across up to 5,800 square feet in a single placement. Whether you’re watering a wide backyard, a sloped garden, or an irregularly shaped lawn, the tripod design lets you set it once and walk away.

What makes this sprinkler genuinely useful is the combination of precision controls packed into a straightforward package. An easy-turn dial lets you set the exact spray distance you need, while an adjustable collar allows you to dial coverage from a narrow partial arc all the way to a full 360° circle — ideal for corners, edges, or any yard that isn’t a perfect circle. A diffuser pin gives you full control over spray intensity: twist it to shift from a powerful long-range jet all the way to a fine, gentle mist for delicate plantings. Spiked feet anchor the tripod firmly into turf or soil so it won’t tip under water pressure, and the all-metal construction holds up through seasons of outdoor use.

Connecting it is simple — it attaches directly to any standard garden hose. If you want to automate your watering schedule, pair it with one of DripWorks’ hose-end irrigation timers so your lawn gets watered at the right time without you having to think about it.
