Gilmour Circular Sprinkler with Base

Big Lawn Coverage, Simple Setup. No Tools, No Hassle.

The Gilmour Circular Sprinkler with Base (Model 4200) is one of the most straightforward and effective hose-end sprinklers available for large, mature lawns. Just connect it to your garden hose, set the collar to your desired coverage arc, place it in the yard, and let it run. With a 42.5-foot spray distance and coverage of up to 5,670 square feet in a single placement, this impact-style circular sprinkler handles wide-open backyards, side yards, and large garden areas with ease — all without any in-ground installation.

What makes this sprinkler genuinely versatile is the combination of two key adjustments: the adjustable collar, which lets you dial coverage anywhere from a narrow partial arc to a full 360° circle, and the diffuser pin, which lets you shift the spray force from a powerful, far-reaching jet to a fine, gentle mist. The partial-circle setting is particularly useful for corners, edges, or lawn shapes that aren’t perfectly round — you get precise coverage without wasting water on driveways, walkways, or garden beds. The multiple hose connections on the base allow you to chain additional sprinklers or hoses inline, making it easy to water larger properties in one watering session.

This is a hose-end sprinkler — no controllers, valves, or underground pipe required. If you want to automate your watering schedule, simply pair it with one of DripWorks’ hose-end irrigation timers and you can set it to water on a schedule without any manual effort. For lawns with significant slope or uneven terrain, or if you need elevated coverage to clear shrubs and tall plantings, the Gilmour Adjustable Circular Tripod Sprinkler is a great upgrade option. For smaller garden beds, borders, and delicate plants that need a softer touch, consider the Gilmour Bubbler Sprinkler.
