Lemon Basil Seeds – Citrusy Sweet Herb for Garden & Kitchen
Ocimum basilicum
Listing is for 1 packet minimum of 50 seeds
Infuse your garden (and kitchen) with a zesty twist! Lemon Basil (Ocimum basilicum var. citriodorum) combines classic basil sweetness with a bright, citrus aroma thanks to its naturally high citral content. The tender, emerald-green leaves release an instant lemony burst perfect for Thai curries, summer salads, iced teas, herbal vinegars, and homemade pesto that pops with refreshing flavor. Plants stay compact—about 12-18 inches tall—yet branch vigorously, producing continuous harvests until frost. Sow indoors 6 weeks before your last spring frost or direct-seed once past your last spring frost date. Pinch the tips early to encourage bushiness and delay flowering. Snip leaves in the cool morning for peak oils, and remember: frequent harvesting equals fuller plants.
