DESCRIPTION
A new dimension in Mini-Pumpkins. Little October is properly proportioned in size, shape and handle. Produces good yields of smooth, almost round, rich burnt orange, 3-4″ diameter fruits weighing 8-12 oz. Dark green stem. These characteristics make it ideal for kids to paint faces on for Halloween. Always a great seller at Farmer’s Markets!
CLASSIFICATIONSOPEN POLLINATED
Pollination occurs by insect, bird, wind, humans, or other natural mechanisms. Because there are no restrictions on the flow of pollen between individuals, open-pollinated plants are more genetically diverse. However, as long as pollen is not shared between different varieties within the same species, then the seed produced will remain true-to-type year after year.
