The Hunter MP Rotator MP3000 (High Flow) is the largest standard nozzle in Hunter’s acclaimed MP Rotator series, designed to deliver efficient, uniform water distribution across large turf areas with a throw radius of 22 to 30 feet and a consistent precipitation rate of approximately 0.4 inches per hour. Available in three arc configurations — 90°–210° (Blue), 210°–270° (Yellow), and 360° fixed (Gray) — the MP3000 retrofits directly onto standard spray bodies with a female thread inlet, making it one of the easiest upgrades you can make to an existing sprinkler system.

What makes the MP Rotator technology genuinely different from traditional spray nozzles is the way it delivers water. Instead of a wide, single-burst fan pattern, the MP3000 emits multiple, slow-moving streams that rotate outward across the coverage area. This dramatically reduces the application rate, which means water has time to soak into the soil rather than pooling, running off, or evaporating. The result is matched precipitation rates across all arc sizes — a critical advantage when you’re mixing 90°, 210°, and 360° heads on the same zone, because each head puts down water at the same rate regardless of arc, eliminating dry spots and overwatered areas.

The MP3000 is particularly well-suited to larger residential lawns, commercial turf, park strips, and any application where traditional high-precipitation spray nozzles are causing runoff on slopes or compacted soils. It operates best at 40 PSI, and radius can be reduced up to 25% by adjusting a set screw — no nozzle change required.
