Prevent Corn Gluten Spreadable – 40 Lb.

Meal is a non-selective, natural pre-emergent herbicide which feeds turfgrasses, flowers, vegetables, trees and shrubs. Its natural pre-emergent herbicidal properties prevent germination of broadleaf weeds, annual and perennial grasses. It works by inhibiting the feeder root development of germinating seeds. Because it will not kill existing plants which have already germinated, it may be safely used around transplants and plants with established root systems. Its Nitrogen content will release slowly and feed your plants over a three to four month period without burning. Nature’s Creation® PREVENT Corn Gluten Spreadable or Meal does not contain any synthetic chemicals so your kids and pets can enjoy your lawn right after application. Proper application timing is critical. This product must be applied and watered in with approximately 1/4 inch of water prior to germination of target weeds. Although rains usually provide adequate moisture, water if it does not rain within 5 days of application. Following application, water deeply and infrequently.
