The Ultimate 4-in-1 Pocket Tool for Drip Irrigation
The Spagetti Stickler Punch Tool is arguably the only hand tool you will need to keep in your pocket during a drip irrigation installation. Manufactured from durable, high-quality stainless steel, this ergonomic multi-tool is designed to handle the most tedious and finger-fatiguing parts of setting up a watering system. Its primary function is a sharp, precise punch for creating standard 1/4″ holes directly into 1/2″ mainline tubing or 3/4″ mainline.
Beyond punching holes, the Spagetti Stickler features a unique forked prong design that serves three additional functions. First, the prong can be inserted into 1/4″ micro tubing to stretch the plastic, making it much easier to slide over barbed fittings. Second, the forked gap securely holds a 1/4″ transfer barb, allowing you to use the tool’s handle for extra leverage when pushing the barb into the mainline. Finally, the forked end acts like the back of a hammer, easily prying old emitters and transfer barbs out of the mainline for quick repairs and layout changes.
- 4-in-1 Functionality: Punches holes, stretches tubing, provides insertion leverage, and extracts old fittings all in one compact tool.
- Stainless Steel Build: Highly durable, rust-resistant construction designed to survive years of use in muddy tool buckets and damp garden environments.
- Saves Your Fingers: The leverage prongs eliminate the thumb pain and fatigue associated with pushing dozens of tiny barbs into rigid tubing.
- Tubing Stretcher: Quickly widens the opening of cold, stiff 1/4″ micro tubing so it slides effortlessly over emitters and barbs.
- Universal Sizing: Creates the exact standard hole required for almost all 1/4″ micro fittings and point-source drip emitters.

A quick guide to maximizing the four functions of your multi-tool.
Function 1: Punching Holes
Hold the tubing firmly. Press the pointed stainless steel tip of the tool against the 1/2″ or 3/4″ mainline tubing and apply firm inward pressure to puncture the plastic.
Function 2: Stretching Tubing
Insert the rounded edge of the prong directly into the open end of your 1/4″ micro tubing. Wiggle it slightly to stretch the plastic wide enough to easily slide over a barbed fitting.
Function 3: Inserting Barbs
Slide a 1/4″ transfer barb into the gap between the forked prongs. Grip the handle of the tool and use it to push the barb firmly into your pre-punched hole in the mainline, saving your thumbs from fatigue.
Function 4: Removing Emitters
Slide the forked prongs underneath the lip of an old or broken emitter or transfer barb. Use the tool like the claw of a hammer to gently pry the fitting up and out of the mainline.
