Pressure-Compensating Micro-Sprinklers for Orchards, Vineyards & Tree Plantings

The Netafim SuperNet PC Sprinkler Assembly is a professional-grade, pressure-compensating micro-sprinkler designed for orchard irrigation, vineyard blocks, nurseries, and new tree plantings. Each assembly arrives completely pre-built and ready to connect — including the sprinkler body with stock spinner, a 30″ length of 1/4″ supply tubing, and a 1/4″ transfer barb for attaching directly to your mainline tubing. No assembly required; just punch in and start irrigating.

What makes the SuperNet stand out from ordinary micro-sprinklers is its pressure-compensating (PC) diaphragm, which maintains a consistent, uniform flow rate across a wide pressure range of 25–50 PSI. That means every tree on a long row — or on uneven, sloped terrain — receives the same amount of water regardless of pressure variation from one end of the line to the other. The result is dramatically better distribution uniformity, healthier trees, and less water waste. The SuperNet also features the largest water passages on the market, making it highly clog-resistant, and a drop-down swivel plate that acts as a bug-proof barrier to prevent insects from entering the nozzle.

The assembly is available in three flow rate options to match your tree spacing and water requirements: Purple base (5.3 GPH) for low-flow applications, Blue base (10.9 GPH) for medium coverage, and Black base (18.9 GPH) for high-flow, widely-spaced trees. All three models share the same PC technology and swivel spinner system.

One of the SuperNet’s most practical advantages is its grow-with-the-tree spinner system. When a tree is young and its root ball is small, replace the stock spinner with the optional Blue Spinner with Breakaway Deflector (MSNSBLD) to concentrate irrigation right at the base of the young plant. As the tree matures and its root zone expands, simply snap off the deflector to widen the wetted diameter to full coverage. For fully mature trees, swap back to the stock spinner for maximum radius and flow. This three-stage system eliminates the need to replace hardware as your orchard matures.

Use the Blue Support Stake (MSNSTK) (sold separately) to elevate and stabilize the sprinkler above the ground. For a complete orchard irrigation system, pair the SuperNet with a filter (80 mesh minimum recommended), a pressure regulator to keep your system within the 25–50 PSI range, and a timer or controller for automated scheduling.

Flow & Coverage Performance by Model

The table below shows the wetted radius (measured at 8″ above ground) for each SuperNet base model combined with each spinner configuration. All flow rates are average mean values measured at 25–50 PSI.

Base Model (SKU) Flow Rate Spinner Config Wetted Radius
Purple Base (MSNP / MSNPT) 5.3 GPH Purple stock spinner 8 feet
Blue spinner, with deflector 2 feet
Blue spinner, deflector removed 4 feet
Blue Base (MSNBLU / MSNBLUT) 10.9 GPH Purple stock spinner 8.5 feet
Blue spinner, with deflector 3 feet
Blue spinner, deflector removed 5.5 feet
Black Base (MSNBLA / MSNBLAT) 18.9 GPH Black stock spinner 10 feet
Blue spinner, with deflector 3 feet
Blue spinner, deflector removed 8 feet

Note: “MSNPT,” “MSNBLUT,” and “MSNBLAT” are the assembly SKUs (with tubing pre-attached). “MSNP,” “MSNBLU,” and “MSNBLA” are the body-only SKUs. Flow rates shown are average mean values at 25–50 PSI.
