High-Capacity, Flexible Supply Line for Drip Tape & Micro Irrigation
The Oval Hose™ is a revolutionary, large-diameter polyethylene tubing designed as a highly versatile alternative to rigid PVC pipe. Proudly manufactured in the United States from premium-grade polyethylene resins, this heavy-duty hose is extruded in a unique oval shape. This innovative profile allows it to be tightly coiled for economical shipping and easy seasonal storage. Once unrolled and pressurized with water, the flexible walls expand outward, instantly transforming the hose into a perfectly round, high-capacity supply pipe.
Available in 1″, 1 1/2″, and 2″ diameters, Oval Hose™ serves as the ideal low-pressure mainline or header for expansive row crops and agricultural drip tape systems. One of its greatest advantages is the ability to puncture holes directly into the sidewall with a manual punch. This allows you to effortlessly insert tape takeoff fittings or 1/4″ micro fittings straight into the pipe—saving you the time and expense of gluing complicated PVC saddles. Please note: Oval Hose is designed exclusively as a low-pressure delivery line and must be installed downstream of your automated valves or timers. It is not rated for constant pressure.
- The Ultimate PVC Alternative: Significantly easier to transport, maneuver, and install across long agricultural rows compared to heavy, rigid PVC pipes.
- Direct Fitting Insertion: Skip the expensive PVC saddles. Simply punch a hole in the sidewall and push your drip tape or 1/4″ micro fittings directly into the hose.
- Massive Flow Capacities: The 2″ model can handle flow rates up to an incredible 73 Gallons Per Minute (4,380 GPH) to feed extensive fields.
- Economical Shipping: The unique oval extrusion allows this large-diameter pipe to be coiled compactly and shipped directly to your door via fast shipping.
- Premium US Quality: Manufactured in the USA from top-tier polyethylene resins to ensure dependable operation in tough farming environments.

Install your Oval Hose™ quickly and correctly.
Step 1: Unroll and Position
Unroll the coiled hose flat along your desired header path. Allow the sun to warm the polyethylene for a few hours; this will make the material much more pliable and easier to handle.
Step 2: Connect to Source
Use the appropriate barbed or Easy Loc fittings to connect the beginning of the oval hose to your water source. Crucial: Ensure this connection is made downstream of your automated valves and pressure regulators.
Step 3: Punch Holes
Use a manual irrigation punch tool to pierce the sidewall of the hose exactly where you want your drip tape rows to begin.
Step 4: Insert Fittings
Firmly press your drip tape takeoff fittings or 1/4″ micro fittings directly into the punched holes for a secure, leak-free connection. When you pressurize the system, the hose will round out perfectly.
