It is an excellent choice for automating extensive drip irrigation layouts, large sprinkler zones, and robust multi-bed systems. Because this unit is engineered to be hard-plumbed directly into your mainline using 1″ PVC fittings or poly adapters, it does not include garden hose thread adapters.

Step 2: Program Your Schedule
While the faceplate is detached, utilize the push buttons to comfortably set your current time, desired watering start times, run durations, and day frequency.
Step 3: Connect to the Mainline
Using thread seal tape, wrap the threads of your 1″ Male Pipe Thread (MPT) PVC or poly adapters. Thread them into the timer’s inlet and outlet, ensuring the entire assembly is plumbed in a strictly horizontal position for proper internal valve operation.
Step 4: Reattach and Test
Snap the programmed LCD controller securely back onto the valve body. Use the manual override button to perform a system test, verifying that water flows correctly without leaks at the threaded connections.
