Follow these steps to properly install and program your new Hunter controller.
Step 1: Install Batteries
Open the waterproof battery compartment and insert one or two fresh 9-volt industrial alkaline batteries. Secure the cap tightly to maintain the waterproof seal.
Step 2: Connect the Solenoid
Thread the included DC latching solenoid directly into your compatible Hunter valve body. Splice the solenoid wires to the controller wires using waterproof wire nuts.
Step 3: Download the App
Search for the Hunter “NODE-BT” app in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Download it to your Bluetooth-enabled smartphone.
Step 4: Pair and Program
Stand within range of the controller, open the app, and follow the prompts to pair the device. Set your desired watering days, run times, and start frequencies.
